John Hewitt (John Litel), An honest man, meets his friends at a Horse Race track. His first time at a horse race, he doesn't even think to place any bets. He's just happy to be there with his friends and enjoy the crowd and races. He sees his brother-in-law at the track, who gives him a tip on the next race. He doesn't think anything about the tip until his friends talk him into betting on the horse. He places a two dollar bet and wins. He bets his winnings and wins a long shot.
