Professor John "Johnny Longbow" Salinas (Gregorio Sala), an American Indian, introduces Kathy Nolan (Donna Leigh Drake) to Paul Carlson (Chase Cordell). They fall in love very quickly and during a Meteor Shower, a Meteorite fragment hits and lodges in Paul's skull which causes him to turn into a "Moon Beast", a reptilian monster during a full moon. Professor Johnny Longbow finds ancient Native American Indian paintings detailing a similar event that happened many centuries ago. Kathy, still in love with Paul tries to save him.
