A new Diving Bell has just completed construction and four adventurers descend in the bell in search for new animal and plant life at the bottom of the sea, but on their way down the cable breaks sending them down to the bottom. Unable to make contact with the ship above they must save themselves. Since they can still see daylight, they should still be close to the surface. They leave the safety of the diving bell to try swim to the surface. They end up surfacing inside a cave, still deep below the surface. The Crew above loses hope until the radar operator sees movement down below. They get another Diving Bell that has just been built and try to make a rescue as the adventurers try to climb their way out.
